Look everyone! Lila is famous. We got to participate in the Michigan Parade today downtown with my parent’s dance troupe, Fantasia (that’s Fan-tas-eeya) for those who don’t speak spanish.

I was reading Fox in Socks to Lila and she was counting everything in the book. When she finished counting all the fish on one page, I explained to her that a group of fish is called a “school of fish.” She repeated the phrase. Her eyebrows tightened a little, looking the picture over again.…
