Tufte has courses coming up in Dearborn, MI in mid-April.
I attended one of his courses in Chicago about a year and a half ago. It was the best one-day course I’ve ever attended, hands-down. Well worth the cost.

i saw a reply to a post on my blog that you entered and wandered over here. Then i saw a Tufte plug. The Visual Display is a great book, in my opinion, that more social scientists (who i think was his target audience, and a group of which i suppose i am a member) should pay attention to. For whatever that’s worth.
LEt’s get a group of 10 + otgether and go for only $240. The books and poster add up to $147.00. 10+ can listen to E.T. for only $93. Am I a recoving accountant or what!
P.S. I should get that copy of “The Visual Display of Quantitative Information” back to you soon.
