On our drive to my parents’ house in the Keewenaw, we stopped at Canyon Falls and hiked into the woods for a little sight-seeing. Enjoy the photos!

- Spinning ferns!
- The girls imagined this as “The Devil’s Chair”.
- A little creek.
- Look! Trees.
- More trees.
- Roots grown over mossy rock.
- There’s a creek in there somewhere.
- Birch and cedar roots intertwined over rocks.
- Green stuff.
- First glimpse of the river.
- The girls climbed down to the river’s edge on the flat rocks.
- More river.
- And more river.
- Look, more river.
- Ooh. River.
- The river is picking up speed.
- Lila and Eva posing on a boulder.
- More river.
- And more river.
- Ah hah! Canyon Falls.
