For those of you who know Chey, you know she reads a lot. Really. I noticed a book in the shower this morning.
Anyway, it seems Eva is picking up Chey’s affinity for books. She can’t read yet (she only 1.5 yrs). However, she often picks books up and flips through them, mumbling to herself as though she is reading.
Case in point, I just took this photo of her about an hour ago.

It is warmer today, and the snow is melting. It also rained a little this morning, I think.
So, I’m down here about to start drafting some information architecture documents for a client, and this recurring humming noise is distracting. It is our sump pump; I can hear the water splahing into the crock. It’s like my own private cascade. Wow, I’m lucky.
Anyway, the sump pump is running every forty-five seconds.
It’s times like this that I wish I had a backup generator.
