Plug for Mr. Tufte

“One visionary day….the insights of this class lead to new levels of understanding both for creators and viewers of visual displays.”

Tufte has courses coming up in Dearborn, MI in mid-April.

I attended one of his courses in Chicago about a year and a half ago. It was the best one-day course I’ve ever attended, hands-down. Well worth the cost.

  1. i saw a reply to a post on my blog that you entered and wandered over here. Then i saw a Tufte plug. The Visual Display is a great book, in my opinion, that more social scientists (who i think was his target audience, and a group of which i suppose i am a member) should pay attention to. For whatever that’s worth.

  2. LEt’s get a group of 10 + otgether and go for only $240. The books and poster add up to $147.00. 10+ can listen to E.T. for only $93. Am I a recoving accountant or what!

P.S. I should get that copy of “The Visual Display of Quantitative Information” back to you soon.
